Experience – 28 Years
George J.C. Jin, MD, PhD, joined The Eye Institute in 1990 and has served as director of clinical research ever since. A member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, he has published more than 60 research papers in various major ophthalmic journals on topics such as glaucoma, cataracts, and refractive and laser surgery.

History
After receiving his medical degree from Beijing University Medical School, Dr. Jin completed his residency and earned his PhD degree from Peking Union Medical College Hospital and the Eye Research Center at the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. He finished his post-doctorate fellowship at West Virginia University and Bascom Palmer Eye Institute of the University of Miami in Florida.
